Maybe this is too far afield, and old news, but anyway--I spent a day last weekend in the tiny town of Hot Springs, northwestern Montana, on the Flathead Reservation and noticed lots of Eurasian Collared-Doves. My grandmother has a feeder and this is the first year she's noticed this bird at them. I've visted the area almost yearly all my life and hadn't seen them there before,?and suddenly they are all over the place. Amazing how quickly these birds are spreading and colonizing.
