Hello All,

These two hares are in deep trouble in southeast Washington due to shooting
and massive habitat loss. I see 1-2 jacks a year. that is it! I have only
seen one white tail in the last 12 years and no more than 10-12 black-tailed
over the same period of time. How does this link to birds? This hare is prey
base for Golden Eagles and many other raptors. This is the loss of an
important pair of species in arid Washington.
