Hi everyone,

I drove from Snoqualmie to Medical Lake today (Friday), as my band is playing this weekend at a festival there.? Didn't have time to do much birding on the way over, but decided to check out the sewage treatment ponds for the rest area on I-90 a few miles east of George.? The ponds (and the adjacent?Winchester Wasteway) are on the south frontage road east of George.? There were at least a dozen Black-necked Stilts working the edges of the ponds when I got there.? Also a Yellow-headed Blackbird, Killdeer and a number of swallows - mostly Barn.? An un-ID'd pre-adult gull flew off as I drove up?before I could get a good enough look for a positive ID.?
