After my stop at the Thelar Wetlands, I continued on up Hood Canal and birded Jefferson County.
Found some nice migrants at the Triton Cove State Park - WILLOW FLYCATCHER seemed to be in an odd location. WESTERN TANAGER and RED CROSSBILL as well. Found some HARLEQUIN DUCKS in the next stop just north of the park.

At Dooswillups State park I found a couple of LEAST and WESTERN SANPIPERS and a NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW.

Just before Leland, I saw what possibly might have been a stooping Goshawk, but I did not get a good enough look to call it (tough call at 60 MPH!). But I doubled back and found some BAND-TAILED PIGEONS in the area (possible target of the stoop?)

There was a swarm of Swallows to sort thru at Crocker Lake, with at least one BANK SWALLOW in the hordes and BARN and VIOLET-GREENs.

It was a GOOD day !
