Amongst the WESTERN and LEAST SANDPIPERS this morning at Edmonds
Marsh was one DOWITCHER, a probable Log-billed, and one SPOTTED
SANDPIPER. Other Marsh birds included VIOLET-GREEN and BARN
SWALLOWS, BELTED-KINGFISHER, KILLDEER, GREAT BLUE HERON, MALLARD and
HOUSE FINCH. The Solitary Sandpiper appears to have moved on.

There were no warblers at Willow Creek Hatchery but there was one
WILLOW FLYCATCHER. Other hatchery birds included OSPREY, CROW, BLACK-
CAPPED CHICKADEE, TOWHEE, BEWICK's WREN, and NORTHERN FLICKER.

From the Point Edwards public path we saw PILEATED WOODPECKER, CEDAR
WAXWING, ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD, WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, ROBIN and
AMERICAN GOLDFINCH. We watched the large colony of HEERMANN'S GULLS
lift off the marina breakwater.
