Hi Tweets,

After reading Bill Boyington's post in the daily digest that arrived
at noon, I decided to head back down to the Marsh. He was there
about 15 minutes before we arrived this morning. So thought it was
worth a look-see again for the Solitary Sandpiper. No sign of it but
the one Spotted Sandpiper of this morning has doubled to two. Four
Least Sandpipers were still out feeding. A few quiet Great Blue
Herons were near Willow Creek and swallows were feeding actively. As
I left a male Anna's Hummingbird made an appearance. Worth a try
again this early evening. This may be the Solitary's fourth day at
the Marsh becauses Ted Peterson tentatively IDed it on Thursday but
was not certain until he got a good look Saturday morning.

Good birding,

Carol Riddell
