Hi Tweets,

I was at the Tokeland marina this afternoon and met two nice people from Oregon that spotted a sandpiper like bird. It was with the least Sandpipers, but did not really like them and would chase them off. This bird was slightly larger, yellow legs, cleaner whiter breast, the wings were a duller brown then the leasts and not as nicely marked. They thought it was a Temminck's Stint?
So I took a few photos of it and maybe some of you can take a look at them. The Nat Geo guide has a great picture of this bird. I don't know shorebirds and I could even pick out this bird from the leasts.
