As of 1:40 pm today the two Red-necked Phalaropes were still
busy feeding on the Main Pond at the Montlake Fill. There were also about 5
Least Sandpipers, 2 Green Herons, one Great Blue Heron, a cameo appearance
by a Kingfisher, lots of Barn Swallows, one Gadwall along with the Mallards
and lots of Chickadees and Goldfinches. The pond was amazingly active on
