The Edmonds Marsh did not produce any unusual peeps this morning.
There were good numbers of WESTERN and LEAST SANDPIPERs among the
resident KILLDEER. An OSPREY flew over just as I arrived. Twenty
minutes later, when Ted Peterson arrived, we had a juvenile NORTHERN
HARRIER fly over. It is an infrequent visitor to the Marsh. Other
Marsh birds were BARN SWALLOW, ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD, CROW, HOUSE FINCH,
BELTED KINGFISHER, and GREAT BLUE HERON.

We wandered over to the Point Edwards public path where Dennis Duffy
caught up with us. There were abundant numbers of young STELLER'S
JAYs and AMERICAN GOLDFINCH. We found one YELLOW WARBLER and several
WARBLING VIREOS along with one WILLOW FLYCATCHER. The OSPREY flew
over one more time on our way down to the Willow Creek Hatchery. At
the hatchery we saw one RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET and a number of BLACK-
CAPPED and CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEES.
