Hi Tweeters,

I checked the new Thomas Ponds off of 277th in Kent on Frontage Rd this afternoon. I found at least 2 Semi-palmated Sandpipers and one more that probably was but it had a longer bill and I just wasn't sure. Lots of Western Sandpipers, 3 dozen plus, with much fewer Least Sandpipers. About 6 Lesser Yellowlegs and at least one Greater Yellowlegs. About 4 Long-billed Dowitchers, only one Killdeer to round out the sandpiper crew.

Take 272nd off I-5 (turns into 277), or 277th of 167th, go east, then turn south on Frontage Rd and the ponds are just south of the newish U-haul and storage center.
