As I looked out at 6:30 am this cool, windy morning in Cle Elum I noticed a wave of migrant birds landing briefly in a tree out front and then flying on. Black-headed Grosbeaks, tanagers, warblers, robins, etc. There were also more than normal Violet-green Swallows flying overhead. Now, only the swallows are left. Everything else zipped right on through but what fun to watch. :)
