Subject: [Tweeters] Many new shorebird photos uploaded

During the past 2 weeks I have made a few trips to Bottle Beach, Midway
Beach, Tokeland and, of course, the UNBA photographing the shorebird variety
that is now passing through. I have uploaded several photos in my website.
Check the "last uploads" album to see what I found. My favorite was the
snowy plovers at Midway Beach. There is a pair with 3 babies that are a kick
to watch as they feed and scurry along the sand. I was about to get close-up
photos of one of the chicks which was wandering toward me when a man with 4
unleashed hunting dogs approached and sent it hustling for cover. I find
this to be more of a problem where ever I go. I am also amazed at how vile
some of these people are when I ask them to leash their dogs. I have had
several discussions about this with Greg Thompson who told me that one
person at Juanita Beach actually threatened to kill him.

What is this world coming to?
