Hello All,

Much cooler!! We birded the western end of this county on 22 August. Birds
and bird numbers of note were.....

Millet Field-all but dried up-few wet spots

Lesser Yellowlegs......32 birds- big number for WW Co.
Greater Yellowlegs..11 birds
Eurasian-collard Doves.4 birds
Solitary Sandpiper.....6 birds
Hooded Merganser...4 birds-same young hatched in the area.
Short-billed Dowitcher..1 bird-year bird

Tyson Ponds

Red-necked Phalarope....51birds
Stilt Sandpiper.................1 bird, early for this site
Green-winged Teal...........42 birds, large number for date
Bairds Sandpiper.............1 bird

Dodd Rd. Blood Ponds

Killdeer.......................61 birds
Western Sandpipers....110 birds
Semipalmated Plover....3 birds
Wilson's Phalarope........1 bird
Baird's Sandpiper........130+ birds, the largest number we have ever seen in
WW Co. in thirty years of birding this area.
