Hello Tweeters,
After a long trip to the Coast yesterday, leading a Tahoma Audubon trip,I
decided to trying for the Hudsonian Godwit today.I got there quite late, and
I hiked way out behind the sewage ponds. There was only few birds there 2
Dowitcher 3 Western Sandpiper and few Greater Yellowlegs. It was not to 2.30
PM when 5 Yellowlegs flying in to the grassy spit,It was hard to detect all
the birds, but 1 bird was different and looking to the scope I saw the
Hudsonian Godwit. It was so hard to see this bird since the grass
covert most the bird. But at one time he walked out,and I had a good look of
the whole bird.I am going to write the trip from yesterday up.Right now I am
so tired driving again 232 miles.
Cheers Ruth Sullivan
