Dear Tweeters,

I talked to my friend who had the parakeet visiting her feeder and much has happened since my post. The parakeet has been captured and my friend is going to keep him.

The parakeet was very upset about being back in a cage, however, she played him parakeet chatter off the internet and it helped to calm him down. She has also found a friend for him via www.petfinder.com at the Seattle Animal Shelter. The new bird had also been an escapee. She is keeping the two birds in separate cages for the time being. They are chatting up a storm, probably telling tales of great adventures.
