Migration and post-breeding dispersal ARE "...two [possible] extemes
of a spectrum of types..." (over-wintering is another exteme type)...
"May be" seems to me a scientific quizzle :-) - Today "5"
post-breeding-dispersing Western tanagers paid another visit (3rd in
two weeks) -- or at least I assume they're the same 5, same mix of
ages (female and juveniles); unless those others migrated already - Jim Greaves
