I thank two people who wrote to suggest that these are Brown Headed Cowbird
chicks being fed by the adult Junco. I've google imaged and found that is
exactly what they are. I see now why they are (seemed) so much bigger!

The one little Junco chick is outnumbered by the Cowbirds. Funny thing, I
spend close to half hour a morning watching my birds and have never seen an
adult Cowbird. I'll have to look closer out in the forest that surrounds the
