I received an email about a suspected Willet on private property near Beacon Rock State Park in Skamania County today. When I checked it out what I found was a SOLITARY SANDPIPER in a brushy pond. Apparently the bird has been there for three days.There were several RED-EYED VIREOS calling from the trees around the pond.
