Tweets, After Saturday morning's showers I found a number of birds on the
move, some species not typically found in Tenino.
- Purple Martin (3) with hundreds of V-g & Barn Swallows
- Chipping Sparrow (30+, perhaps 40)
- Vaux's Swift (20+, large groups usually seen only in evening)
- Willow Flycatcher (1)
Also, on the mill pond on the Heernett Environmental Foundation property E
of Tenino (Churchill x SR507) were 3 SOLITARY SNDPR and 25 Cinnamon Teal
(the numbers have more than doubled from a couple weeks ago). A small
assortment of warblers around: YELLOW (4), OR-CR (2), WILSON'S (2),
YELLOWTHROAT. Good birding!
