Dear WA birders,

I will be traveling in the Great Northwest following a meeting in
Portland. (I will be traveling 9/25-10/1.) I have reservations for a
pelagic trip out of Wesport on Sunday Sept. the 27 and would like to
take in the sights and bird for the rest of the time. I have quite an
extensive list of western birds that I would like to see but I have a
feeling that many will have already departed for parts south or will
have not yet arrived by the time I get to WA. I have a copy of A Birders
Guide to WA. As much as I welcome recommendations for specific places to
bird, perhaps even more I would like suggestions for a route to travel
to best take advantage of my list and view the beauty of the Northwest.
I have gone over the WA checklist and have "narrowed" it down to those
birds which would be lifers for me. I have highlighted birds of
particular interest with ** and *. Thanks for any help. Probably best to
respond off-list.
