Subject: [Tweeters] RFI Everett Water Treatment Pond Ducks

Greetings Tweeters,

I ride a commuter bus 4 days a week from Stanwood to Everett and have observed, from I5, an increasing number of ducks on the Everett waste water ponds. Yesterday (Monday, November 30th - mid afternoon) there were, I estimate, several thousand! Without bins, I am unable to identify any birds other than Great Blue Herons (flooded fields, along sloughs, an similar habitats), Canada Geese (at the ponds)and hawks. Has anyone been there recently with a scope to ID the ducks?

Regards,
