Hi Tweets,

I haven't been able to post in awhile due to the holidays and other family obligations so here it is. About a week ago I saw my first Western Scrub Jay near the Kent Ponds, pretty exciting for me. At the mouth of the Cedar River there were numerous waterfowl and one Ruby-crowned Kinglet that was really giving me a tough time, I thought it was going to take my head off. Today at the Montlake Fill I saw a Pileated Woodpecker, a Fill first for me. It was a picture perfect morning at the Fill, the light was great and the birds plentiful. Photos at:

Hope you enjoy them

Good Birding
