I will be spending a week in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo in late January and am looking for bird guide suggestions. Is there a good book that is regional or do I need an entire Mexican field guide? This will be a primarily non-birding trip, but hoping to see whatever I might in the immediate locale.

I'd appreciate hearing any tips from anyone that has birded there and/or your favorite accomodations suggestions too.
