A few days ago I reported seeing a juvenile bald eagle dive into Puget Sound osprey style near the Edmonds underwater dive park to catch a fish.???I have related this to a few people whose responses were?that the bald eagle's normal fishing technique is to swoop low above the water and while remaining airborne, snatch a fish?swimming close to the surface. ???

Is anyone out there?familiar with bald eagle behavior, through?research or?personal observation,? who can?say whether or not the?fishing technique I saw the juvenile use is normal???It was the first time I?had?ever seen a bald eagle go after a fish, so I am cannot comment?one way or the other.
