Subject: [Tweeters] Washington Snowy Plover Photo Solicitation

Greetings,
I/we, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, would like to 'solicit' the many photo birding enthusiasts out there who might be interested in having their photo on the cover of the 2009 Snowy Plover Population Monitoring, Research, and Management Actions: 2009 Nesting Season Research Progress Report. We have used old file photos in the past but thought it would be refreshing to see the report with a photo of a "local" breeding snowy plover or perhaps of a juvenile or chick.
We are not in the position to pay for the rights to use your photo but FULL credit will be given to the photographer on the report. I have personally met a few of you at Midway Beach, as you were photographing, and I have seen a few photos as they have been posted by links on Tweeters, so I know there are excellent photos out there; I just don't know how else to search for them other than through this forum (I hope I haven't overstepped boundaries).
Please contact me directly, instead of through Tweeters, at my personal email address, if you are interested. We would love to select a photo that is 'typical' of the Midway Beach/Leadbetter/Long Beach habitat and bird/s.
Sincerely,
Cyndie Sundstrom
