Hi Tweeters,

Today around noon I observed a pair of Harlequin Ducks quite close to shore off of Perkins Lane in Magnolia. There was also a Western Grebe and a large flock of Buffleheads. Crows and a Bald Eagle were around as well. I did not have a scope but wish I would have as there were other birds farther out that I was unable to ID. I don't go to Magnolia often. Are Harlequins often seen in that area?
