Hi Tweets,

Gulls of Washington
with Michael Donahue, Gull Expert, Pelagic Guide

Gulls are one of the most challenging groups of birds to identify.
Fourteen species of gulls are found annually in Washington. You've been
saying that you want to take a gull ID class, so now's your chance!

Two classroom sessions will cover identification of adults of all the
gulls that regularly occur in Washington, from the ubiquitous
Glaucous-winged and enigmatic Thayer's, to the elegant Heermann's and
Sabine's. There may even be a rarity or two thrown in. There will be a
half day (8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.) field trip to visit several local gull
hotspots on south Lake Washington.

Classes: Tuesdays January 5th and 12th, 7-9 p.m.
Location: Douglas Classroom, CUH*
Field Trip: Saturday or Sunday, January 16 or 17th. Instructor will
lead field trip both days; participants will sign up for one of these
days at the first class.
Cost: $80 members, $95 non-members
Lecture Only: $40 members, $55 non members
Limit: 26 for lecture and field trip, 14 for lecture only

To register, call the 206-523-4483 between 10am-5pm, Monday-Saturday.
