I arrived at Pt. Wilson just after noon today and stayed for about 2 hours.
It was partly sunny, in the mid 50s. Based on the tide chart, there was a
very weak incoming tide during this time period.

I saw the following birds:

Bufflehead-around 100

Surf Scoter-perhaps 50

Harlequin Duck-6

Red-breasted Merganser-4

Common Goldeneye-2

Mew Gull-30

Western Gull--1

Pelagic Cormorant-1

Pigeon Guillemot-6

Marbled Murrelet-1-in flight , identified from photo

Ancient Murrelet-3-in flight, identified from photo

Song Sparrow-1

I also saw a flock of about 100 small birds that flew like Sanderlings, but
I did not get a good look.

In general, there were lots of birds present, but no murrelets were seen
feeding, possibly due to the tidal conditions.
