Hello all,

Today at just after 3:00pm, a Townsend's Solitaire made a surprise visit to
my yard, eating the red berries from a small tree (crabapple is my best
guess). The bird stayed around until the light began to fade. The
solitaire allowed me close enough to take several photos:

made for my 74th yardbird species this year, and is new to the cumulative
list I've been making over the past three years.

Also to report, back in the early morning of 11/23 I had left my bedroom
window open and I awoke to the sound of three (or so) calling TUNDRA SWANs
flying south over my house at 12:30am.

Other birds in the yard over the last few weeks include HUTTON'S VIREO,
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER, HERMIT THRUSH, and EVENING GROSBEAK.

Good birding!

~Tayler
