Hi Igor!

Sorry, I don't remember the product. But I would not apply anything
chemical to a good camera lens unless it was a high-quality product
designed for the purpose. Good camera lenses have anti-reflective
coatings that you don't want to mess with. Good lens-cleaning
solutions are designed to leave no residue on the lens. Of course, if
the alternative is throwing away the camera or lens, you have nothing to lose.

If the lens is expesive and the scratch is ruining the photos (check
to see if that's true) you probably need to replace some glass. You
might look for a damaged lens on Craig's list or ebay, but you'll
have to pay shop fees to have the work done.

Also, check to see if you might have insurance on the lens. For
example, if you recently bought it with a credit card, some credit
cards insure against accidental damage during the first month or so
of ownership.
