Hello all from warm (55) and breezy Walla Walla,
Our count was on the 19th - was in the 30's and drizzly. 35 observers found
74 species with 7 of those count week birds.
Highlights included our first for count Eurasian Collared-Doves, and Anna's
Hummingbird, Peregrine and Prairie Falcon.
Highest number ever - Wild Turkey - 343.
Misses: Mountain Chickadee, Merlin (been around for two months!), Killdeer
(cold spell sent them south), Bohemian Waxwing and Evening Grosbeaks have
both been around in small numbers but not this week.
Still looking - - - -
MerryLynn
