For the second time this month I went out to Nisqually with the expectation of wall to wall sunshine Friday. There was sunshine, everywhere but there. As has been noted Bald Eagles abound. The most interesting part of that is hearing them 'sing'. I did have a fairly good look at an adult Northern Shrike and a very close fly-by from a juvenile Northern Harrier. A large number of ducks, mostly Wigeon and G.W. Teal, along with Canada and Cackling Geese along the trail to the barns.

I took a few pictures in the fog: http://www.pbase.com/jvhigbee/c_current

Now when I get that sunshine.......................
