Hi, Tweets. We met Khanh on the road today and he had just seen the
first Snowy Owl this season in Doug. County. So we followed him back to
Bridgeport Hill and 17th (I believe). The bird was on the east side,
about 1/2 mile away. Beautiful bird! Khanh is headed home and wanted me
to post that he also saw 2 Gyrs., one near Jamison, as well as two Lapland
Longspurs (but I don't know where those were).

He was also in the Okanogan Highlands and did not see any Crossbills.
Said it was very quiet and not many birds. from Meredith Spencer,
