Yesterday (Christmas Day), while doing a bit of birding with family members, I found a light morph Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk. The bird was between Bellingham and Lynden. Travel north out of Bellingham on Hwy 539 (Meridian?). At Wiser Lake turn right (east) onto East Wiser Lake Rd. In a mile or 2 turn left (actually go straight) on Bylsma Road. The hawk was seen from Bylsma Rd in the field to the west (left) before the first 90 degree turn and the squiggly road sign.
