Greetings, all,

Persistence finally let me see the female Red-naped Sapsucker in
Seattle's Discovery Park at about 11:45 this morning. (I started at
dawn, but gave in and visited the point mid-morning -- harbor porpoise,
among else.) Three trees in particular have a lot of fresh work, and I
saw the bird in a pine. Let me know if you'd like details (sorry, no
pictures).
