I've only just walked through the door after a lengthy O-Wow, and can report that among the more fun items at Ridgefield this afternoon was what we (the generic version) believe was a White-tailed Kite on the west shoreline of Rest Lake... As soon as I recuperate, I'll post photos (the kite shot is DISTANT, so don't expect miracles :) ) and short story on my blog (see link below). This will probably NOT be tonight, so don't wait up :)
