With crumby weather coming, I decided to bask in the (weak) sun at Juanita
Park. The sunlight was filtered and the wind was . not (meaning no breeze).
While waiting for photo opportunities, a male GREEN-WINGED TEAL came
swimming by - with a raised crest! This was completely news to me. I've
watched these guys at Juanita Bay for several years without ever noticing
they had a crest to raise. Really cool!
