Hi Tweets! Just to establish a datum point and because there has been so much interest this year, I thought I might collect the numbers of Anna's Hummingbird occurring on Christmas Bird Counts in Washington State this current season. If you are a count organiser would you be so kind as to email me directly the numbers of ANHU recorded within your count circle this December/ January? I am sure that there will be a few counts for which I may have to chase data in any case. Thanks too, to Chris Southwick, for the heater to feeder observations, which supports the feeder survey info from the early 1980s. Happy New Year to All, David
