Dear Tweeters,

After trying in vain for the Baikal Teal from 0700 to 1500, I quit--just as I was about to start collecting overtime. Lucky thing I did not have to punch out.

Up in Cowlitz County, at a place that I think is called Woodland Bottoms or Dike Access Road, there were multiple flocks of fifty to seventy SANDHILL CRANES, all flying southward down the east shore of the Columbia in late afternoon.
