Tweets,

I am offering the following additional owl walks due to additional demand after Kathryn True's article (link below) in last Thursday's Seattle Times about Jamie Acker's work with owls:
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/outdoors/2008682771_nwwowls290.html

My previous walks in this series yielded Barred Owl views and hooting and Screech Owl tooting, not to mention an Eastern Gray Squirrel pretending to be a flying squirrel.

As with the other walks I've been leading in this series of owl walks above, I am asking for a donation between $1 and $20 to allow me to continue my conservation work.

Each walk is scheduled for 1 1/2 hours or a bit longer if
people want. Flashlights not necessary, but you can bring them. I request
people use them sparingly to see obstacles in the trail or an actual owl or
other natural object we are focused on. If you have binoculars or possibly
a spotting scope bring them, if not we will share binoculars. Trails may be
a bit muddy in spots.

I can set up additional owl walks, plant walks, bird, butterfly, herp, ecosystem, etc. for a diversity of groups of various ages, and levels on request.

I am also leading 2 more owl walksfor Camp Long and the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation, one on Feb 14th, then another again on March 7th and 2 salamander walks 2-14 and 3-14
