As a novice bird watcher, I find Matthew's Beach in NE Seattle a good spot.? Today, saw a single Eurasian Wigeon amongst the usual flock of about 20 American Wigeons.? Over the last 2 weeks have also seen 5-6 Trumpeter Swans on 2 occasions;? once w a fly-by, and the other time the group was resting w their heads tucked just about 20 yards off shore along the Burke-Gilman trail about half mile N of the park (approx at the block of 125th).
