apparently, the gull that appeared in the 0.5-second Ivar's Superbowl ad was a photoshop composite of a group of glaucous-winged gulls, according to Steve Tucker of Heckler Associates, the advertizing agency that created the ad. to read more about it (and to read about John Callendar's wonderful detective work to identify this bird) and to view the original image that the agency used, please return to this link;
