The Turnbull NWR, Spokane Co, RUSTY BLACKBIRD was seen again today in the
same location as yesterday.



As you drive into the Turnbull HQ parking lot you are headed north.

Park on the right side & walk north past the vault bathroom.

Turn to the right down the gravel road.

Pass the stream & take the left fork in the path/grass road.

On your left is a nice riparian area.

Look for two spring fed streams going away from the path.

The bird is often feeding in those tiny streams.

The bird acts more like a Song Sparrow so look carefully.

Today I walked within 20 feet of the bird without seeing it.
