Today, at about 1130, a Gyrfalcon was perched on a power pole at the corner of Hiawatha Rd. and 5 NE (west of Moses Lake). It was adjacent to a feed lot containing rodeo bulls and a flock of Rock Pigeons.

Also in the vicinity were 2 Prairie Falcons, 2 American Kestrels, 5 Red-tailed Hawks, 3 Rough-legged Hawks and a Northern Harrier making for a 'raptor alley.'

One of the Prairie Falcons stooped on and displaced the Gyr for a good size comparison.
