On Saturday, the 7th, my wife and I observed a flock of around 8 Pine
Grosbeaks tour our block in Mt Vernon. They spent a good part of the day
flying from conifer to conifer mining the cones. First time we have seen
this species at our urban home in the ten years we have lived here.
