Yesterday, I observed the Prairie Falcon which has been noted during in the last month or so in the Samish Flats. The bird was along the Bayview-Edison Road south of the "T" in the Samish Flats sitting on a telephone pole. Also, tried for White-winged Crossbills at Mount Erie with no luck. Additional highlights of my trip in Skagit County included:

Eurasian Wigeon - 6 at March Point
Eurasian (Common) Green-winged Teal - at Edison
Long-tailed Duck - at March Point
Prairie Falcon - Samish Flats
Peregrine Falcon - just south of Bay View
Eurasian Collared-Dove - at Edison
Barn Owl - near LaConner
Great Horned Owl - Skagit Wildlife Mgmt Headquarters
Short-eared Owl - West 90

Cheers and Good Birding;
