Hi all

I hadn't seen any posts about this today so maybe we were the only ones to see it.? But we saw a Sharp Shinned Hawk at the east entrance to Marymoor park this afternoon.? With all the traffic at the park I was just thinking why would any bird in it's right mind even want to be within a mile of the park.? There was 5 cars in line getting tickets to the dog park, rugby, football, 4 model airplanes and other groups in various locations.? It was a busy place. Now my bad news - I had left my?*%&#$ camera at home.? I just want to kick myself.??It sat in his tree while we watched?it and then he moved closer!? Now what are the odds of that happening again? ? He was probably 30 feet away.? Next time I'll have my %#%& camera. I'm sorry for the language but I feel better now!?

Now next weekend I only hope the Northern Hawk Owl, the Snowy Owl and the Gyrfalcon all cooperate - my husband and I are going to try and find them all.? Wish us luck.

(PS: if someone want s to correct me and say it was a coopers hawk I would only put up a short argument - but I really believe it was a sharpie due to it's size )
