Hi, I was able to get some pics today, and got them loaded onto my Mac. Not the best, but I am pretty happy with the quality, for my first try. I had the Pileated calling, and when I ran to see, the dogs had spooked him. I had moved my set up away from the patio door, and had to put it back anyway. Just as I was finishing setting up (including more suet) I heard the Hairies calling. The Male came first, so it was not until the female came that I figured out how to zoom in better with my camera. Then there was all the adjusting around, a lot of work focusing camera and scope. A large flock of Bushtits came, but I was unable to get them focused in time to get good shots. On my blog below I posted some of the better ones. Not the best, but I am happy with them. The Female Hairy is not quite in focus, but I will improve. I was able to get a super close up of a chickadee with his mouth open, while inside the suet cage itself. So nothing too exciting, but at least a start! The link to the blog where posted is below. I am going to try to get my flicker account opened again and may use that instead later on.Happy Birding,Vicki
