Subject: Help for Aussie friend in western USA?

Hi Chatters --

An Australian friend of mine, Phil Hansboro (whom many of you may know
through his involvement for many years with Oz pelagics) will be in the
western USA in May, specifically Seattle, San Diego and Montana.

He has an extensive list of target birds of varying degrees of
difficulty. Living here in Maryland I am not much help, so wondered if
there were any volunteers who could help him with these birds. (Email me
and I will put Phil in direct contact with you. katahdinss at COMCAST.NET)

Phil's targets include:

Ashy Storm-Petrel
[Fork-tailed Storm-Petrel]
Ferruginous Hawk (Summer, return by early March)
White-tailed Ptarmigan (resident)
Dusky Grouse (resident)
Mountain Plover (arrive early April)
Northern Pygmy Owl (resident)
Red-naped Sapsucker (return when snow still on ground)
Sprague?s Pipit (Arrives late April to Mid-May)
Lark Bunting (from mid April to May)
Baird?s Sparrow (some late April, most early to mid May)
Chestnut-collared Longspur
McCown?s Longspur
Black Rosy-Finch
Timberline Sparrow
Great Grey Owl (resident)
Prairie Falcon
Willow Grouse (resident)
Chukar (resident)
Grey Partridge (resident)
