Hi, just a note to mention I've been trying to catch up a bit on my backlog of website bound pics.

Please excuse the quantity you'll find there, as editing was tough and since the site is first and foremost a place for me to go to view my own pics, I couldn't bear to cut anymore.

Here in Olympia, a couple inches of snow and a birdy backyard. Out the window now are this winter's special guests, a White-throated Sparrow, a "Slate-colored" Junco and a White-crowned Sparrow. The WCSP is the one that is not usual in my yard in winter.
After a 2 year absolute dearth of accipiters in my neighborhood, things are back to "normal" this year with a Coop or a Sharpie being seen every couple of weeks or so, just as in the other decades I've been here.
